# Signing with a Business-Account Wallet

> Sign transactions and messages in Kotlin with a wallet owned by a business account.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Business Accounts are in **early access**. See [Business Accounts](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/business-accounts/accounts.md) for the model.

A business-account wallet is a standard Dynamic embedded wallet. Once you are an active [signer](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/kotlin/business-accounts/manage-signers.md) on it, you sign the same way as with any embedded wallet. There is no business-account-specific signing API.

## Sign with the wallet

Wallets you can sign for appear in `sdk.wallets.userWallets`. Match one against the account's wallets, then pass it to the standard signing calls.

```kotlin theme={"system"}
import com.dynamic.sdk.android.DynamicSDK
val sdk = DynamicSDK.getInstance()
val detail = sdk.businessAccounts.get(businessAccountId = account.id)
val accountWalletIds = detail.wallets.orEmpty().map { it.id }.toSet()
val wallet = sdk.wallets.userWallets.firstOrNull { it.id in accountWalletIds } ?: return
val signature = sdk.wallets.signMessage(wallet, "gm")
```

For transactions, use the chain module that matches the wallet: [EVM](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/kotlin/wallets/evm/send-eth.md) or [Solana](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/kotlin/wallets/solana/send-transactions.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Only active signers can sign. Being an admin or viewer does not grant signing access. See [Members and roles](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/kotlin/business-accounts/members-and-roles.md).

> [!TIP]
>
> If a newly linked wallet does not appear in `sdk.wallets.userWallets` yet, refresh authentication so the session picks it up before signing. You can collect `sdk.wallets.userWalletsChanges` to react when it arrives.
