# Using Networks

> [card] Recommended: JavaScript SDK for React Native
>
> While this SDK is still supported, we recommend using newer [JavaScript SDK](https://docs.dynamic.xyz/docs/javascript/reference/react-native-quickstart.md), which is optimized for React Native, but also comes with a host of other benefits.

## Fetching Enabled Networks

React Native provides access to enabled networks through the dynamic client. Networks are read from the Dynamic Console at runtime.

```ts React Native theme={"system"}
import { dynamicClient } from '<path to client file>'
// Enabled networks are read from the Console at runtime
const evmNetworks = dynamicClient.networks.evm
const solanaNetworks = dynamicClient.networks.solana
// Example: names for display
const evmNames = evmNetworks.map((n) => n.name)
const solanaNames = solanaNetworks.map((n) => n.name)
```

### Network Switching

```typescript theme={"system"}
import { useReactiveClient } from "@dynamic-labs/legacy-react-hooks";
import { dynamicClient } from "<path to client file>";
const client = useReactiveClient(dynamicClient);
await client.wallets.switchNetwork({
    wallet: client.wallets.primary,
    chainId: 8453,
});
```
