Recommended: JavaScript SDK with React Hooks

For new React apps, we recommend the JavaScript SDK with React Hooks (@dynamic-labs-sdk/react-hooks) instead of the legacy React SDK documented here. The JS SDK comes with many benefits such as a much smaller bundle size and other optimizations. Use the React quickstart (JavaScript SDK) to get started.

Summary

This callback will be called when a wallet connection fails.

Usage

If you’re calling it in the DynamicContextProvider:
<DynamicContextProvider
  settings={{
    events: {
      onWalletConnectionFailed: (walletConnector, error) => {
        console.log('walletConnectionFailed', walletConnector, error);
      }
    }
  }}
>
If you need to call it anywhere else in the code:
dynamicEvents.on('walletConnectionFailed', (walletConnector, error) => {
  console.log('walletConnectionFailed', walletConnector, error);
});

Callback Argument Value

walletConnectionFailed: (
  walletConnector: WalletConnector,
  error: unknown,
) => void;
This is called with the wallet connector that failed to connect and the error that occurred.
